Some tests using Mograph to create water drops. Now I have to figure out how to animate them…
I’ve been carboloading on Dexter this month. At the end of every episode, there is a great broken glass bumper with Showtime’s logo laid over it. I thought this would be a nice project to tackle. I may start doing some tutorials, and I think this would make a good one, as most of the “look” is achieved in After Effects. My intention was to not make it exactly like the original, this is more of an inspiration.
Started playing around with C4D Standard Particles (which are pretty cool) and kept adding stuff: emitter on path, dynamics, gravity, wind, attractor, blah, blee, blahggg… Also rendered out a wireframe view for clarity.
It’s that time of the semester – Mograph. This little experiment uses cloned cubes, the step effector, and some dynamics. I also added a vibrate tag to the sphere for some random movement. All finished up in AE with particles and the obligatory camera shake.
Banner. Flat. Mid-century hand-drawn sorta thing.
It’s Sunday, but I wish it were Friday night.
iPhone is here, so I celebrate with flat vectors.
I know, I know – waiting for my new iPhone 4S. Obsess, much? I made this in After Effects, in case you wanted to know how I got such a sweet camera angle.
I’m on a roll with my date studies. Hey, where’s my iPhone?
A little bit of blue, some grids, mix in Interstate Mono Condensed, toss in a dyslexic date and you have this.
